NHS Tayside Non Executive Directors Opportunities

NHS Tayside is looking to appoint three Non-Executive Members to join the Board. These
appointments will also include membership of one of the three Integration Joint Boards.
The time commitment for each of these roles is two days (16 hours per week) and the
appointment is for up to four years. The remuneration will be £18,060 per annum which
includes remuneration for membership of one of the three Integration Joint Boards.
We are looking for individuals with a diverse range of skills, backgrounds and knowledge and
would welcome applications from women, disabled people, LGBTQ+ people, ethnic
minorities and people aged under 50.

For these roles you do not need to be a health expert or have previous experience of being
on a Board. You do however need to have a commitment to helping us improve the health
and wellbeing of the people living in Tayside. Additionally you must have finance experience
including audit and risk for role 2. Role 3 is the Whistleblowing Champion and you must have
the ability to effectively implement and review performance against the National
Whistleblowing Standards. Support, training and an induction programme for these roles will
be provided.
