Stagecoach, the UK’s largest bus and coach operator, has secured 13 nominations within six of the 16 categories at this year's National Transport Awards.
The National Transport Awards spotlight the dedication, expertise, success and innovation of those working to continually enhance the transport networks across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Stagecoach South, last year's category winners, have been nominated again in the ‘Bus Operator of the Year’ category alongside Stagecoach East Midlands.
In the ‘Exemplary Contribution to Net Zero’ the Stagecoach Scotland teams have been nominated, recognising Stagecoach’s commitment to sustainability as the operator works towards becoming net zero.
Four of Stagecoach’s operating companies from across the UK were recognised in the ‘Best Bus service’ category, with nominations spanning from East Scotland to the South of England.
Claire Miles, Stagecoach Chief Executive Officer, said; “It is an absolute delight to see the hard work of our teams across the UK being recognised with 13 nominations in this year's National Transport Awards.
“Stagecoach puts the needs of the communities we serve at the heart of everything we do, and we look forward to celebrating with colleagues across the transport sector at the awards ceremony in October.”
