UHI Perth supported Scottish Apprenticeship week (5-7th March) to help show that apprenticeships and apprentices are made for business! They held different information services to anybody thinking about a modern apprenticeship & welcomed all to attend & gather information to help them make an informed decision on whether or not an apprenticeship would be right for them, This included partnerships with Aviva and Auto Services Perth LTD.

Modern Apprenticeships (MAs) help employers to develop their workforce by training new staff, and upskilling existing employees.

For individuals, a Modern Apprenticeship is a job which lets them earn a wage and gain an industry-recognised qualification, building valuable work experience from day one. They’ll develop skills and expertise for their current and future jobs.
