Scottish law firm Gillespie Macandrew announces the appointment of five newly qualified solicitors, each completing their two-year legal traineeship programme in the firm’s four core sector areas, Land & Rural Business, Renewable Energy, Real Estate and Private Client.

The newly qualified solicitors are Jenny Purdie specialising in Private Client, Jenna Wayth in Construction Dispute Resolution, Thomas Anderson in Land & Rural Business, Jamie Carson in Commercial Property, and Jack Cuthbertson in Energy & Strategic Land.

Robert Graham-Campbell, Chief Executive Officer, said “I am very pleased to welcome these talented individuals into our key practice areas as newly qualified solicitors. All have demonstrated their skills and dedication to legal practice at Gillespie Macandrew. We are committed to developing lawyers of the future, investing in our traineeship programme to help nurture their careers in the law.

Gillespie Macandrew now has eight partners who originally started as trainees in the firm, a testament to our trainee retention and career development. As we continue to grow in line with strategic targets, we recently enrolled eleven new trainee recruits across all offices - our highest annual intake to our traineeship programme.”

Gillespie Macandrew has offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Perth and advises individuals, families and businesses on all areas of land and rural matters, private client, commercial real estate, energy, tax and disputes, combining a personal approach with specialist knowledge in its chosen sectors.
