Lucy Weir appointed as new Chief Executive of Perthshire Chamber of Commerce

I am delighted to let you know that Perthshire Chamber of Commerce has confirmed Lucy Weir as its new Chief Executive.

Lucy has a strong background in commercial and sales leadership, operational management, stakeholder engagement, business support, and event and project co-ordination.

Her career to date has included several executive roles in the motoring sector, as well as self-employment working with local businesses in industries as diverse as telecommunications and horseracing to provide sales, business, and membership support.

Recently, Lucy has been supporting the Chamber Board as we look to work with our members and other key partners across Perth and Kinross to champion local business.

She will be liaising closely with the Chamber Board in the months ahead to deliver our action plan, which includes:

• increasing engagement with and advocacy for our members
• strengthening relationships with local government and policymakers
• improving our internal processes and efficiency
• raising the profile of the Chamber and its members
• supporting growth opportunities across our region
• fostering collaboration and innovation
