The Perthshire Chamber of Commerce has a voluntary Board of Directors from all over Perthshire and a wide range of business sectors.

This service caters for our new businesses facing their exciting and challenging early days. There is a special rate of £50 + vat membership for those within their first year of trading.
Chamber Events
We offer a mix of online and face to face events at different times of the day in different locations to cater for a diverse membership’s requirements. We also have sessions engaging with our Local Authority, MP’s, MSP’s and Ministers to lobby, and provide virtual face to face sessions for members to engage directly with policy makers. We work with our local authority and stakeholder groups to constantly highlight the need and importance of private sector engagement and accurate and fair representation of our local businesses.

Annual Dinner & Business Star Awards
This glittering evening celebrates Perthshire's award-winning businesses and takes place in November each year. Around 400 guests attend this black-tie event where the winners are announced, and awards collected. Applications are available for any business registered in Perth & Kinross and this is an excellent chance for publicity for your business and a fabulous evening to enjoy with like-minded business people.
Annual Chamber Golf Day

Networking at the Races
Networking at the Races combines the excitement of horse racing with the value of business networking, creating a unique environment for building professional relationships. Perthshire On A Plate
A great opportunity to sample some of our area’s most exciting stars in the sector of food and drink. Local and celebrity chefs, popup restaurants and bar, showstopping local producers all work together to celebrate the natural larder we have on our doorstep with many working together to create delicious and innovative products and experiences. Formally opens on the Friday with our Chamber Business Breakfast at 1000, then enjoy the festival and all the delights that the Perth Show has to offer and visit other businesses taking a stand at this hugely successful show. Business events e.g. post budget, Local Development Plan Consultation Period
These events not only offer valuable networking opportunities but also provide a platform for knowledge exchange and advocacy on issues that impact the local economy. Two key types of events often organized by the chamber are Post-Budget Meetings and Local Development Plan Consultation Periods.
Round table sessions with individuals or groups
Sessions include third parties, bodies or agencies including Local Authority, Scottish Government, UK Government, International contacts, etc.
Business Visits
These visits are organized to various companies within the Perthshire region, providing an invaluable opportunity for members to gain insight into the operations of different businesses, share best practices, and strengthen local business networks.

Members may use the Chamber’s website for free to promote their goods and services and events over the Internet. Members are also listed in the Scottish Chambers online directory. Our website attracted on average 153,951 hits per month last year so offers a great web presence.
Weekly Events and News Briefs
We publish a weekly newsletter which is sent to the entire membership by email and includes sections for ‘Member News and Business Advice’ and ‘Events’. Members are invited to submit articles or events for inclusion in the newsletter free of charge, by sending the text of the article, a logo and any other relevant images to amplify@perthshirechamber.co.uk

Local Representation
The Chamber is represented on a variety of organisations and committees. It has regular meetings with Perth & Kinross Council, local MPs, MSPs and MEPs and with Scottish Enterprise Tayside at which it promotes members’ views. The Chamber is in a stronger negotiating position than individual members can be and uses its bargaining power for the benefit of members.
National & International Representation
The Perthshire Chamber of Commerce is affiliated to British and Scottish Chambers of Commerce and through the latter’s Council ensures that Perth & Kinross issues get heard at national and international level. Scottish Chambers of Commerce is based in Glasgow and keeps especially close to the Scottish Parliament and its ministers.
