Window Wanderland in Perth

The streets of Perth were alight with window displays on Saturday night, as local businesses and organisations put on decorated their windows to bring some colour and light to the streets.

Every year thousands of people make Fun Palaces for their local community – sharing skills, meeting new people, creating connections. This year Horsecross invited residents and businesses in Perth and Kinross to create a window display.

“We thought is sounded a fun idea to brighten up the dark nights, a way to connect with people and be creative despite the covid-19 restrictions” said Rachel Weiss, partner at Rowan Consultancy. “We only heard about the Window Wanderland on Thursday, so we didn’t have much time to come up with ideas for our windows on Kinnoull Street.  We kept it simple, making chains of paper people, since our work at Rowan is all about relationships and people.”
