Sustainable sleeping: Crieff Hydro introduces new eco bedding
The iconic Crieff Hydro Hotel in Perthshire has upgraded the bedding in each of its 215 bedrooms to a range made from recycled bottles.
The hotel has worked with the luxurious Fine Bedding Company to switch its bedding to Vegan Down. The company specialises in eco bedding using environmentally friendly materials, with fibres made from 100% recycled plastic bottles and BCI cotton, and free from animal derivatives.
The Fine Bedding Company uses a pioneering fibre technique to create comforting, down-like clusters in its Vegan Down range, and ensuring guests are treated to luxurious bedding while keeping sustainability in mind.
Kristian Campbell, General Manager at Crieff Hydro Hotel, said: “We are delighted to be working with The Fine Bedding Company to help ensure our guests have a wonderful experience at our hotel, while also choosing a more environmentally friendly option”.
“We are very pleased with the fantastic quality of Vegan Down and look forward to hearing feedback from our customers.”
Trish Holmes, Business Development Manager at the Fine Bedding Company, said: “We are seeing more and more hoteliers like Crieff Hydro Hotel looking for bedding which offers the luxury guest experience whilst being environmentally responsible”.
“Our Vegan Down is an ideal solution, and we were delighted to work with Crieff Hydro Hotel in order to provide it in each of the bedrooms."
