Strategic Transport Projects Review or STPR2 - Scottish Government Recommendations
The Scottish Government have today published their recommendations for the second Strategic Transport Projects Review or STPR2.
These recommendations aim to set out the Scottish Government’s priorities for transport investment for the next 20 years.
Some of the recommendations include:
- Facilitating mass transit in the biggest city regions of Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen
- Improving rural transport and connectivity for island communities
- The decarbonisation of public transport
- Improving active travel infrastructure
- Transforming freight
These recommendations are now out for public consultation until midnight on the 15th of April.
