Scottish Government Daily Update Monday 26th October 2020

This update from the Scottish Government directs businesses to the most up to date information on COVID-19 as we move forward with our economic response.

The Find Business Support website continues to provide details on the assistance available as well as information and advice on how businesses can restart safely through and out of lockdown.

At today’s media briefing the First Minister said a revised version of the Scottish Government’s 5-level framework to help tackle the spread of COVID-19 would be published ahead of the parliamentary debate that will take place tomorrow.  This follows on-going consultation with economic groups, local government, stakeholders and other partners.  The First Minister’s full speech is available here.

A consultation on proposals to offer free bus travel to young people living in Scotland aged under 19 has been launched.  It’s estimated that more than 770,000 young people could benefit from the scheme. The consultation closes on Monday 7 December and you can have your say here.
