Gov.Scot: Scotland's Young Persons Guarantee Launched

Scotland’s Young Person’s Guarantee has been launched today aimed at giving all young people the chance to succeed despite the economic impacts of coronavirus (COVID-19).  The Guarantee will ensure that everyone aged between 16 and 24 has the opportunity of work, education or training and was one of the main recommendations of the Advisory Group on Economic Recovery.

Economy Secretary Fiona Hyslop updated Parliament on the significant milestone and encouraged employers to come forward to support young people access opportunities and reach their future potential.

SSE, Capgemini, NHS Lothian have all signed up as early adopters of the Guarantee.
